Each year, more than 13,000 children are diagnosed with
type 1 diabetes in the U.S. That's 35 children each day.
JDRF's (Juvenile Diabetes Research Research Foundation)
mission is to find a cure for diabetes & it's complications
through the support of research. MCS will hold a walk on
May 23rd at 2:15pm at the elementary school. Online donations may be

10/24/11 - Congratulations to all the participants in the seventh
annual pumpkin race. The overall winner was fifth-grader Alex
Juhl. The race is designed as a cross country run in which
students complete one lap on the upper field following cones
for boundaries. The length of the course is shortened for
kindergarten.
First, second, and third place finishers are awarded in each grade level. The overall winner is determined by the fastest time of all grades. Pumpkins were generously donated by Stanton Farms and decorated by Elementary Art Club. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

10/12/11 - Members of the MCS a cappella group “Music of the Knight” have submitted a video in the GLEE "Give a Note" campaign to help fund music and arts programs in public schools. Help support the programs by voting for the video the group submitted. MORE
