Rep. Delgado speaks with MCS students, visits Pre-K program

Rep. Antonio Delgado poses with Jr./Sr. High School studentsCongressman Antonio Delgado (NY-19) visited Middleburgh Central Schools on May 30, visiting classrooms, speaking with students, and touring programs.

The Congressman toured the new agriculture program at Middleburgh Jr./Sr. High School before participating in a 25-minute question-and-answer session with Jr./Sr. High School students in the library. Students asked the Congressman about a variety of topics, including censorship, the power of young people in politics, and preventing school shootings. The Congressman and students had productive discussions the topics.

There, he read a book to students before donating a box of books to the program. Students and teachers also presented the Congressman with a sign and freshly grown vegetables.
