Middleburgh Central School District is developing the 2026-27 budget proposal and invites community input. The BOE and administration aim to conduct the annual budget development process in an open and transparent manner, to partner with families and community members and to educate and inform the public about school funding.
As part of the process, MCS has scheduled budget workshops. The first budget workshop will be held Jan. 14, 2026 at 6 p.m. at the Jr./Sr. High School Library. A full budget development calendar is available on the Budget and Taxes page. Members of the school district community are encouraged to attend BOE meetings and budget workshops.
On April 15, the BOE will vote on the proposed budget. The annual budget hearing is on May 6, and the budget vote will be on May 19.
