Fall Sports and Physical Fitness

MCS is pumped about the opportunities for athletics this year. The fall sports season is just around the corner. Have you signed up? 

For students in grades 7-12, fill out this form to participate in either soccer, golf, cross country, or girls volleyball.

MCS boys and girls cross country will be merging with BKW again. The girls volleyball coach is Josh Bornt for varsity and Lauren Weaver for JV.  The golf coach is Rick Thaxter. And coaching for varsity soccer – it’s Carley Ryan for the girls team and Gregg Johns for the boys. 

For those who sign up for a fall sport, coaches will be reaching out this month with practice times and details about the season. If you have any questions please email athletic directors Maria Sime and Gregg Johns at mcsathletics@mcsdny.org.

Mark these dates on your calendar: 

August 23: first day of JV and varsity fall sports 
August 30: first day of modified sports
September 3-4: kickoff soccer tournament for varsity boys and girls
October 8: Homecoming 

Get in shape ahead of the season with athletic director Gregg Johns’ summer fitness program. It runs from 9:00AM to 1:00PM in the Jr. / Sr. High School fitness center on weekdays through August 19.
