Middleburgh FFA would like to express their most sincere gratitude and appreciation for their members involvement in the community this past weekend. On Friday February 8, three of our officers participated in the Night to Shine Special Needs Prom put on by Fusion Church in Cobleskill. The event was filled with wonderful volunteers from all over the county and Capital Region. This event was a wonderful way for our students to give back to others and have fun while doing it. It was so incredible to witness the joy that students brought to their buddies for the night and contribution it had on the overall event.

On Saturday February 9, students participated in the NYS FFA District 2 Leadership Development Competitions (LDE) at Pine Plains High School in Stissing, NY. Four of our officers participated in the Senior Creed Speaking event. Each one of our students worked really hard to both memorize, analyze and recite the creed. Each of our members have advanced to NYS FFA Sub-States after winning the top five spots which will be held in March 16 at Unadilla Valley High School in New Berlin, NY. Andie Burton took 1st place, Vivian Hanley took 2nd place, and Autumn Miller took 3rd place.

Congratulations to our students for all their hard work and being able to see it pay off. #KnightsSucceed
