MCS Students Inducted into National Technical Honor Society

Students work with emergency dummy.Middleburgh Central School District students were among Capital Region BOCES Career and Technical School students inducted into the National Technical Honor Society on May 29. To be honored, students had to meet several criteria, including earning grade point averages of 92 or greater at Career & Tech and an overall GPA of 85 or greater at the high school. They also had to have five or fewer absences.Student works with craft materials at table.

The students are:

Cierra DuPont, Criminal Justice
Reese Kochis, Digital Media Design
Erica Nahaczewski, Culinary Arts and Hospitality Tech 
Michael Ryan, Culinary Arts
Isabella Tschantret, Early Childhood Education

“It’s mind boggling what you have accomplished,” Kate Nickerson, Assistant Principal of the Career and Technical Education Center – Albany Campus said. “You have proven that you have the right stuff in your home school, and you have excelled at CTE.”
