The Middleburgh FFA has been awarded the Guernsey Premier Exhibitor award during the Schoharie County Sunshine Fair. Judges bestow the honor on the group with the highest points for the Guernsey breed classes. Julia Bingham, Graycee Cummings, Skylar Czyszczon, Grayce Kane, and Logan Rivenburg worked together to achieve this award.
The Guernsey dairy heifers were leased from Swamp Hill Farm, Richfield Springs, NY. Karen Fisher of Swamp Hill Farm was awarded the Guernsey premier breeder award after her Guernsey heifers were awarded the most points.
Agricultural educator and FFA advisor Carmen Fagnani remarked on her students’ hard work.
“Middleburgh FFA students worked diligently to achieve these awards,” Fagnani said. “We are very proud of these students. Congratulations to all!”
