Boys soccer to advance to quarterfinals (Update)

The district was just made aware that Galway has forfeited the boys varsity soccer game scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 20. This advances the MCS team to the sectional quarterfinals on Saturday. The Middleburgh boys head into the sectionals with a 12-3-1 record.

MCS opened the soccer season today as we hosted our annual Kickoff Tournament.  The participants on the girls’ side were MCS, Duanesburgh, Schoharie and BKW.  Schoharie advanced to the championship game after a 1-1 tie after one overtime period.
