2nd graders speak with famous anthropologist Jane Goodall

2nd grade students pose with dr. jane goodall after a skype in the classroom event2nd graders at Middleburgh Elementary School participated in a once-in-a-lifetime experience today, joining in on a Skype in the Classroom live broadcast with famed anthropologist and primatologist Dr. Jane Goodall. The broadcast was followed by a question and answer session.

During the broadcast with Dr. Goodall, students learned about caring for the planet and how to make the world a better place for people, animals, and the environment. Dr. Goodall told them that she accomplished what she has in her life by following the advice of her mother: “Work hard and never stop trying.” She also told students that every individual can make a difference every day.
