Superintendent Search: Anonymous Survey and Community Forum Schedule

Middleburgh CSD seeks community input via online survey, and community forums to inform upcoming search for its new superintendent.

The brief, anonymous survey seeks input about what characteristics and skills are desired of the next superintendent. The survey is for all members of the greater school community, including students, parents, staff and residents. The superintendent search survey will remain open until Friday, May 6.

District Superintendent Anita Murphy and Deputy District Superintendent Lauren Gemmill, of Capital Region BOCES, are working with the Middleburgh Board of Education as a consultant during the search process.

BOCES will begin advertising the position in mid-May, with an application deadline of June 10, 2022.

The Board of Education is seeking a new superintendent to replace Brian Dunn, who recently accepted a position as superintendent in the Pine Bush CSD.
