Twenty five students from fourth to seventh grade participated in this year’s Annual Middleburgh Spelling Bee. The district winner is seventh grade student Aleah Becker who also won in 2019. Aleah will be participating in the Capital Region Spelling Bee at Proctor’s Theatre on February 8.
The other finalists in this competition were:
- SECOND PLACE: seventh grader Casey Morgan, the district’s winner in 2000
- THIRD PLACE: sixth grader Noah Bates
