As we prepare for the 2022-2023 school year, we are writing to share with you the district’s plan for traffic flow at the elementary school in the event that the Clauverwie Road detour has to remain in place after the start of the school year on September 6, 2022.
MORNING DROP OFF: 7:30 – 7:45 In order to avoid congestion in the morning, families will be able to drop their children off at the front entrance from 7:30 – 7:45. Supervision will be provided until the start of the school day.
MORNING DROP OFF: 7:45 – 8:05 Once the first bus enters the loop in front of the school, all personal vehicles will be routed through the parking lot as has been the past practice (shown below). Children can be dropped off at the sidewalk to walk into the school as soon as they arrive. Supervision will be provided.
Pick up at the end of the day will remain unchanged.
We will review how well this plan works on opening day and adjust if that is necessary. We appreciate your patience as we work to make the opening of school go as smoothly as possible for our students.
