Catskill Center for Independence reminds the Middleburgh school community of important free services and programs

Logo catskill center for independenceThe Catskill Center for Independence wants the Middleburgh school community to know about its free services and programs that can be immediately beneficial to our fellow residents during the COVID-19 pandemic:

Assistive Competitive Employment Services (ACES) is a program that assists Schoharie County residents with finding and obtaining employment – whether you are currently working or not. Assistance is individualized based on each client’s need – obtain necessary training and education, resume writing, interview skills, job support, etc.

NY State of Health : free consultation and assistance with health insurance application in the marketplace. Many people may not be aware that they could be eligible for free or low-cost health insurance if they have recently been furloughed or are collecting unemployment. Applications and assistance can be done over the phone and require very little time.
