The long-standing rivalry between Middleburgh and Schoharie resumes with the Scho-burgh games on Feb. 2, 2024.
“The annual Scho-Burgh games are a great way to bring together the Middleburgh and Schoharie communities to celebrate this great rivalry,” said Athletic Director Gregg Johns. “We have a great venue to compete at, and we look forward to packing the stands and supporting our student-athletes.”
Scho-Burgh Schedule
Feb. 1
- 5:30 p.m. Boys Junior Varsity vs. Schoharie
Feb. 2
- 6 p.m. Girls Varsity at SUNY Cobleskill
- 7:30 p.m. Boys Varsity at SUNY Cobleskill
Due to an increase in the cost to rent the facilities, tickets will cost $5 for adults and $2 for students this year. Tickets can be purchased from Athletic Director Gregg Johns during the school day during seventh and eighth periods and will also be sold during the Boy’s and Girl’s home games.
Spirit Week
As the excitement builds for Scho-Burgh, students can take part in Spirit Week.
- Monday, Jan. 29: College Day
- Tuesday, Jan. 30: Adam Sandler Day
- Wednesday, Jan. 31: “On Wednesdays, We Wear Pink” Day
- Thursday, Feb. 1: Country vs. Country Club Day
- Friday, Feb. 2 Green and White Day
