Middleburgh Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) partnered with local emergency responders and organizations to help keep our community safe.
A dramatic crash simulation showed how quickly a night can change. Students followed a full sequence of events, from a 911 call to the arrival of emergency crews. Along the way, they saw how different agencies work together during a response.
Afterward, students moved through hands-on stations, from impaired driving simulations to peer pressure role-play to a moving victim impact video. The stations gave students a chance to ask questions and talk through real-world scenarios.
Middleburgh Central School District is grateful to the Schoharie County Sheriff’s Office, Schoharie County Probation Department, Middleburgh Volunteer Fire Department, West Fulton Fire Department, Middleburgh Ambulance and Schoharie County Council on Alcoholism and Substance Abuse for their time, care and dedication.
