Dear MCS Families,
It is the Middleburgh school tradition to celebrate Veterans Day with ceremonious performances and to incorporate the meaning, honor, and respect the holiday deserves into our lesson plans. Guided by their teachers and music instructors, elementary students learned and sang patriotic songs, and performed military branch themes on their instruments. Students also drew pictures, wrote cards and letters to send to veterans. High School junior Megan Bramer sang the The Star-Spangled Banner, and senior Matthew Croote played Taps.
