On Friday, the Knights defeated BKW at home, 2 sets to 1. Evelyn Kelley contributed eight service points. On Monday, the Knights were defeated in a close game in Berne. The Lady Knights ended their season with a record of 7-4 and were undefeated at home.

“Since there was no modified volleyball last year, due to COVID, this season was the first opportunity any of these 7th and 8th graders had to play organized, team volleyball. For many of them, it was also their first opportunity to put on an MCS jersey and represent their school. Each player on this team has improved their skills so much over the course of this season and I’m very proud of them,” said Coach Sarah Bramer. “They have been examples of good sportsmanship and have been good teammates to each other. I’m very excited to watch their volleyball careers continue next year.”
