A Marathon for the Class of 2021

substitute teacher stands on track wearing a Middleburgh T-shirtMCS 2019 alum Katelynne Schuttig, a substitute teacher at the high school, is honoring this year’s graduating class by finishing her marathon this morning. 

Middleburgh started a new tradition last year for the school and greater community to walk or run independently and in groups while tracking their progress. The goal is to make it to 26.2 miles (a marathon) by graduation.

“I’ve enjoyed walking for the seniors for the past two years,” Ms. Schuttig said. “Congratulations to the class of 2021. I will be watching the live stream tonight.”
