Senior Capstone Symposium

student presents findings by a screen in front of class Seniors who took CIHS Introduction to Literature through SUNY Cobleskill each had 20 minutes to present their thesis findings to their classmates in the new Library Media Center.

The Capstone Symposium presentations were the student’s final project. They had to select a text and use a literary theory studied during the year to analyze it. Students created their own thesis, did the research, and wrote a 10–12 page paper to defend their thesis.

“This has been a very different year for students around the country. With that said, the MCS CIHS Intro to Literature students progressed through the class with intelligent questioning, great care and true grace. I am wildly impressed with the work that was produced this year and, as always, proud of each one of our students,” said their teacher, Mrs. Lombardo.
