Middleburgh Central School District welcomes Ethan Adams as a new physical education and health teacher at Middleburgh Junior-Senior High School.
For Adams, joining the district is also a homecoming. A Middleburgh graduate, he went on to attend SUNY Cortland, where he earned his bachelor’s degree. After graduation, he taught at Schenevus Central School for a little more than a year before returning to his alma mater.
Now back in the halls where he once walked as a student, Adams is excited to begin his teaching career in Middleburgh.
“As a young teacher, I am looking forward to making a difference in students’ lives,” Adams said. “I am fortunate that I will have students for their whole middle and high school career. I’d like to be a positive role model for students coming through.”
Outside the classroom, Adams enjoys staying physically active. One of his favorite quotes is, “Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.” His favorite movie is “Grown Ups.”
Middleburghis pleased to welcome Adams back to his alma mater and looks forward to the positive example and lasting connections he will build with students.
