Vaccine Appointments Available for Today’s Clinic

The Schoharie County DOH will be administering COVID-19 vaccines for our school-aged children as young as five and our community. Earlier this month, the CDC recommended that children ages five to eleven receive the Pfizer-BioNTech pediatric COVID-19 vaccine. This is a two-part vaccine. The first dose will be given at this clinic.

SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT

  • Pediatric Pfizer Vaccine sign up: for ages 5-11.
  • From sign-in, to being vaccinated, and for the 15-minute wait time after the vaccination, a parent or guardian (with proof of identification) must accompany an individual under the age of 18 during the whole process. 

SECOND DOSE

  • After the first Pfizer-BioNTech pediatric COVID-19 vaccination, parents will receive an email with a scheduled time for their child to get their second dose.
  • The appointment for the second dose will be three weeks later, on Tuesday, December 7, at the same time and place.
The health department is also accepting walk-ins for for initial vaccinations, second dose vaccinations, and boosters. 
  • Regular Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for those 12 and older
  • Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines for those 18 and older
  • Please bring identification and your vaccination card with you
