Middleburgh made it on the scoreboard at the Western Athletic Conference Golf Championship with junior John Bruno earning 5th place. Each team sent four golfers to the Hopson Hills Golf Course in Dolgeville to play a 9-hole round. The other varsity golfers representing MCS in this match were Will Churchill, Tyler Mann and Josh Reinhart. Fonda-Fultonville won the overall team championship, while Duanesburg had the player with the best score. “This season was a huge success thanks to all the hard work from Middleburgh’s golf coach and WAC Golf League Representative, Rick Thaxter,” said MCS Athletic Director Maria Sime.
