Region 7 of Odyssey of the Mind held their Regional Competition on Saturday, March 2 at Shenendehowa High School. All after school activities at the Middleburgh Central School District are cancelled for Wednesday, February 27th. The Winter Sports Awards Ceremony for tonight has been postponed. A rescheduled date will be announced in the future.
New rankings released from the New York State Education Department (NYSED) this month gives Middleburgh Central Schools a top ranking under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). NYSED says the district “Meets Requirements”. Under a previous ranking, the district was ranked a step lower, at “Needs Assistance”. “I believe our work as a district …

Before Winter Break, the Middleburgh Elementary celebrated its Students of the Week and Kids with Character for our themes Courage and Integrity. We are very proud of our Little Knights!
Middleburgh Central Schools will be operating on a two hour delay today, Wednesday, February 13. There will be no AM Pre-K, no AM preschool, and no AM BOCES. The one hour early release originally scheduled for today will still be happening.
Due to weather, Middleburgh Central Schools will be closed on Tuesday, February 12th.

Due to weather and out of concern for student safety, the Ski Club trip to Windham on February 8 has been canceled. The Ski Club will attempt to get in its last trip of the year on February 15 if conditions improve.
The Middleburgh Girls and Boys Varsity Bowling teams capped off extremely successful WAC seasons at the WAC Tournament over the weekend. Middleburgh Girls Varsity Bowling were named WAC Tournament Champions with a score of 2607, which was 294 pins higher than the 2nd place finishers.
