School board elections and budget votes to be conducted by mail and tallied on June 9

In an effort to keep New Yorkers safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, Gov. Cuomo’s May 1 executive order states school board elections and budget votes statewide will be held by absentee ballot and tallied on June 9.

The school board elections and budget votes will all be conducted by mail and all qualified voters will be sent an absentee ballot with return postage paid.
