FREE Healthy Meals

Hunger will never be a barrier to learning at Middleburgh Central School District.  Regardless of income, all students will receive FREE breakfast and lunch during the 2024-25 school year.  This is made possible through the Child Nutrition Community Eligibility Program.  In addition, any student participating in the Advantage After-School Program will be provided with a nutritional snack each day. The letter to parents and guardians regarding free meals is available here.

Students may qualify for state and federal program benefits in addition to free meals. The Community Eligibility Provision Household Income Eligibility Form is available here..

Lunch Menus

Middleburgh Central Schools partners with Nutrislice, an online and convenient way to view your child’s school breakfast and lunch menu that has intuitive features and engaging designs. With Nutrislice, you can:

  • View nutrition information for each food
  • See carb counts
  • View allergen information

Meal Modification Plan

Schools must make substitutions for students who are considered to have a disability and whose disability restricts their diet.  The district’s meal modification plan can be accessed through this link:  Access Meal Modification Plan information and a request form.

Food Services Payments

MCS utilizes LINQ Connect for food service payments. Please note, this in no way impacts our free breakfast and lunch program, which is made possible through the Child Nutrition Community Eligibility Program. LINQ Connect provides parents and guardians with a way to pay for students who wish to purchase additional food beyond the free breakfast and lunch offerings.

LINQ Connect allows families to make online payments to a student’s account, set up automatic low-balance alerts, view menus and more. There is a processing fee charged on LINQ transactions. The district does not benefit financially from this online service.  If you choose not to use this service, you may continue to send cash or checks with your student in a sealed envelope marked “MCS Food Service.” The student’s name should appear on the envelope.
